14 Pieces of Luxury Lingerie I’m a Little Obsessed with at the Moment

May 20, 2015

We’ve done many pieces on this in the past and have a few guides out there regarding buying luxury lingerie. I thought for once I’d share a few of my favourites for SS15 before it turns into AW15. While we are heading into next season, the great thing is that if, like me, you’re not quite ready to splurge on the below, these pieces will most likely be on sale in the very near future. So you can always add them to the lust list for later. (Also, if you’re in Europe and still looking for these pieces and really don’t want to pay for the huge postage, check out Oleanda. It’s my go to for Europe) Here it goes!

1. Fleur of England Caress Set

I was undeniably obsessed and truly taken with the last collection I stumbled across Cavier by Fleur of England, that my interest in this incredible English label was beginning to peak again. If there’s one thing Fleur and her team do extremely well it’s delicate, delectable lace work. It is just beautiful. This time around, I can’t stop lusting after this piece from her Caress collection. The Caress collection is themed in dusty pink and vintage rose. Exquisit, rich French lace plays with soft georgette and brings about this gorgeous romance from each piece.

2. Maison Close High Neck Bodysuit

Europe: Maison Close

This piece has been around for a while now but nevertheless still on the lust list. I’m an absolute sucker for any body which also has suspenders or a high neck. This one has both, so it’s probably going to be stuck on the brain for quite some time.

3. Eberjey ‘Paloma’

Isn’t she beautiful? This one has been circulating Tumblr like it’s no one’s business. It’s a brand spanking new edition from makers of cute lace soft cups, Eberjey and from what I can tell, it’s on a lot of people ‘To buy’ list.

4. L’Agent by Agent Provocateur Torselette

Europe: L’Agent

Yep, it’s on the hit list. Agent Provocateur are constantly coming out with new takes on the basque/torselette which is fantastic, but, as I’m sure many longline lovers have discovered, they’re always at least tripe the price of a bra in the same style. Which hey, it gets pricy after a while. Luckily, sister label, L’Agent have got our backs and have released this beautiful piece and it doesn’t even come close to some of the others on the market right now. A good place to start if you’re in the market for a basque.

5. Agent Provocateur ‘Stone Brief’

Wow, just wow. This set has just been released by Agent Provocateur for SS15 and is down right gorgeous. I’m not going to lie, I’m a little obsessed with almost every piece AP bring out. Time and time, they blow me away, however this piece really stood out for me in this collection. The unlike AP bohemian feel really drew me in. “Sensuous black silk satin overlaid with decadent, gothic stretch French lace forms a strong, singularly re-imagined silhouette, creating a fabulous frisson both day and night.”

6. Lise Charmel Lace Babydoll

Europe: Lise Charmel

I was instantly afixed with this piece. Raspberry lace detailing against sheer black materials…ugh! It’s fantastic! I’m not usually one for Lise Charmel but I really do love with way this set was crafted so perfectly together. The mask, the babydoll and the matching panties. If you’re not a huge babydoll fan, they also have a bra, panty and suspender set in the same style and it’s beautiful!

7. Dita Von Teese ‘Maestra Corselette’

New Dita! Being around lingerie all the time, Dita Von Teese’s lingerie line is something I find myself looking out for on the daily. From my experience (and please correct me if I’m wrong) but it seems like she doesn’t stick to the status quo of SS/AW collections and rather releases pieces as they come. Which is fantastic because year round I’m just anticipating the next designs! A few new pieces have been added in the past few weeks so definitely check out boutiques like Journelle, but I’ve recently really fallen for her Maestra Corselette. Such beautiful lace work and it seems so light. Really loving it!

8. Wacoal ‘Dahlia’

Dahlia by Wacoal is one of those pieces which only comes around once in a while. It’s the gem of the bunch. If you haven’t had experience with Wacoal before, they’re a great place to look for high quality, timeless lingerie. Their pieces are gorgeous.

9. MarjoLaine Lace Slip

MarjoLaine are the queen of lace slips. The queen. If you’re looking for 100% silk slips this is where you’re going to find them. And it doesn’t stop there, I have been seriously impressed with their ability to create the most stunning color palettes through their designs.

10. The Giving Bride ‘Ashley’

This one went nuts on social media.  Delicately ruched silk chiffon, this soft cup is so so beautiful! And it’s not very often you see silver being the color of choice for lingerie, so this was a refreshing change.

11. Dita Von Teese ‘Saviour Faire’

Another piece by Dita which has been revealed in the past few weeks, Saviour Faire, is a suculant deep purple set with amazing eyelash lace detailing!
